Cookie choices

Cookie Policy

This page explains how BenefitPlay uses cookies and browser storage, and how you can manage non-essential choices.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved by your browser. Websites use them to keep you signed in, remember basic settings, protect forms, measure usage, or support features that need to recognize the same browser later.

How BenefitPlay uses cookies and similar technologies

BenefitPlay uses necessary cookies and browser storage to run the site, support sign-in, protect forms, and keep guest gameplay working. With your permission, we also use analytics tools to understand page visits and game funnel activity, such as game page views, Play Now clicks, game starts, completed rounds, and Play Again clicks.

BenefitPlay games are for entertainment, short mental warm-ups, and personal progress tracking. They are not medical tools.

Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies are always enabled because the website cannot work reliably without them. These may include authentication, security, antiforgery, external sign-in, and anonymous player cookies used to provide a stable browser session for logged-out visitors.

Examples include the account sign-in cookie, ASP.NET Core antiforgery or correlation cookies, and the bp_player anonymous player cookie.

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies are optional. If you accept analytics, BenefitPlay may load tools such as Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager and Hotjar. These tools help us understand which pages and games are useful, where visitors drop off, and whether the game funnel works as expected.

Analytics is disabled by default until you accept it. If you reject or later turn off analytics, BenefitPlay updates Google Consent Mode to deny analytics storage and stops sending site analytics events through the shared analytics helper.

Marketing cookies

BenefitPlay does not currently load advertising or remarketing scripts. A marketing category is available in cookie settings so the site can explain and request a separate choice if those features are added in the future.

Local storage and guest gameplay progress

BenefitPlay uses browser local storage for guest-friendly features such as "Best on this device" and weekly challenge progress. This information stays in your browser and device unless you clear site data. It is treated as necessary for the guest game experience because it powers the local progress features shown to logged-out players.

The site may also use session storage for temporary product telemetry session state when analytics is enabled.

Managing your choices

You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your choices from the cookie banner. You can change your choice later by using the link in the footer.

You can also clear cookies and browser storage from your browser settings. Clearing local storage may remove guest results and local best scores stored on this device.
